Had these two captions sitting on my hard drive for a while, so I decided to brush 'em off and complete them. There's probably one more part to this but I haven't finished it yet, so we'll see.
As a parent that has a daughter .. I usually knew when she was lying, BUT it's so much fun to play the long game, and see just how far she'd take it to have plausible deniability. I would definitely have kept this up for the desired results! Perhaps even have them on display at their wedding!
I can definitely see where this is going. You just know the mental processes have already started, but the protagonist just hasn't admitted his desires to himself yet.
