My Top 10 Most Popular Captions of 2020

2020 was a bit of a crapsack year for everyone, but it'll always hold a special place in my heart as the year I joined the caption game! And as such, I'd just like to chronicle the captions that you all seemed to enjoy the most! (And maybe give me ideas for what needs a sequel in 2021, but no promises) Let's begin!

Number 10: A Long Summer (Part 2)

Surprisingly, both parts (posted separately) appear on this list. The premise isn't entirely original but I think the expression on the model particularly matches the story in this one. I don't have much to say other than I'm pretty proud of this one for the story, but lack of images of the same model might prohibit any future non-POV sequels no matter how tempting the idea is.

Number 9: Spitting Image

A fairly recent one that I didn't expect to see on the list, given it's only about a month old, but it's another one that I had a lot of fun with, and one of my more "artsy" ones, since I edited in the frame and altered the picture to make it look "retro". I always love a sweet one with a good twist at the end, so this was fun to make.

Number 8: The Lady Doth Protest Too Much

Another fairly recent one, but I understand why, since it's an oft-used premise that I think takes a nice turn at the end.

Number 7: The Babysitter

This is another really recent one, and one that I really enjoyed making. The "Male Babysitter gets feminine makeover" premise isn't original but I like what I did with it and particularly like the model I chose for it.

Number 6: Blind Date

This one I can't take all the credit for, since the photo was from Andrea-TG, a phenomenal TG storyteller who also shared the caption, but it's another one I'm very fond of because it takes a traditional story (in-fact one that I've used several times in the past, particularly with the interactive stories I've worked with on writing.com and chyoa.com) and gives it a rather sweet turn at the end, which I always prefer to a cruel ending. Call me a softie if you'd like, but I like to keep my characters happy.

Number 5: The Perils of Automation (Part 2)

A rare case in that the sequel is more popular than the original, but I think it's probably because people were clamoring for this sequel so much that it somehow got more love! I love auto-dresser stories but captions are always difficult since such things don't exist in real life, but it's always possible to fudge it a bit and find a photo that manages to get across the premise without needing the exact scene shown.

Number 4: Say Cheese and Feminize

As an adaptation of an old interactive story, I'm very fond of this one, doubly so because of how designed it is, compared to most of my other captions. But when you have a caption about a camera, I just couldn't resist using a Polaroid frame, and that set of Sabrina Lynn photos really lent itself well for the progression aspect.

Number 3: A Long Summer

I like this one mainly for the experimentation aspect, since I'd never done a POV cap before but it's very fun, especially with a pose like this that lent itself very well to the story.

Number 2: Panty Raid Gone Wrong

This is one that I didn't expect to be quite as popular as it ended up being. I have a particular fondness for this model, Sabrina Lynn, and with the backwards cap I got a very bro-y vibe and rolled with it. I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention that this was actually pretty chiefly inspired by an old SteffiMarieChen cap called "Justice Served" which utilized a photo of Molly Quinn, which is quite funny because the next entry on the list is of course...

and Number 1: Temporary Daughter

Now, technically, only the first two are actually in the top spot, but I don't think it'd be fair to raise one of these up above the others. This was my first TG cap series ever, and I think it came out rather good for a first attempt, likely because I've spent so long reading them, that it was a natural jump to making them. I'm very proud of it, mainly because it was only meant to be the first one and then the story pretty much wrote itself, all I had to do was find the proper photos for it.

And that brings us to the end of the list, and the end of the year! I hope next year is better for everyone and I hope that I can keep making quality content for y'all!
