Looks like there might be advancement after all, eh?
The Morning After
Technically I should post this on November 1st, but I've already got something earmarked for that day.
Off To See The Wizard
Done as a request for an anonymous commenter who requested a cap about a guy named James stealing his neighbor Jenny's body and dressing like Dorothy Gale. The title gag was my idea.
Just A Stupid Pumpkin
Got this image from another caption artist who graciously opened their archive of images to the public. Saw this while browsing it and got the germ of an idea.
Chick or Treat
Originally I had this just titled "Trick or Treat" but then I realized the puntential and it became absolutely irresistible to me.
Bro Fishing - Natalie's Story
Lucky you guys, you get two caps today for the price of one!
Part of a collaboration with Courtney Captisa centering around an old favorite premise of hers, trashy early-2000's reality TV! As you can see, I took the opportunity to be a bit artsy with it, and I think it works, what do you think?
Wasn't Actually A Rule
This cap started life last year as a potential entry for a Halloween pop-up caption contest over on the Haven, but I never finished it... until now! Also, I'm considering permanently swapping out my usual font for the font I've used in a few of these Halloween caps since I think I like it better. Let me know what you think in the comments! Is it easier to read, harder or about the same?
Moonlit Thoughts
As In All Hallows'
It's not quite a direct sequel, but I was inspired by Hikaro's "Curse" series to make an indirect sequel of another person targeted by the Avatar of Fall, although not through punishment like last year.
The Sorceress's Apprentice
I'm actually surprised I've never made a cap with this title before, it seems like something I'd totally do!
A Small Price To Pay
Before we get into the spoopy scary caps, I saw this picture and the story came pretty easily to me. I also decided to do something different with the font for this one!
Yo Bro! Who Got You Smiling Like That?
This one started out as just the first sentence and even I couldn't have predicted where the ending was going to be when I started it!
(Also in case anyone pays attention to such things, I added a link in the sidebar to a page on the blog that contains my stories, since as this week's Facebook debacle showed us, you never know when a website will just pop out of existence and I want to hedge my bets just in case)
A Bewitching Halloween
“But Mom! It’s not fair!” I shouted, waving my arms in annoyance as I followed Mom through the house.
